警報システムのデザインと数理解析

警報システムといえば,危険を示す兆候が検知されたとき,それを知らせるものを思い浮か
べるのがふつうです.しかし,危険な兆候がなにも検知されていないことを知らせる形態も
あります.前者を「危険検出型」,後者を「安全通報型」とよびます.これらは監視対象や
リスクに応じて使い分ける必要があります.また,両者を適切に組み合わせると,誤報と
欠報を同時に軽減することも可能です.
